BIOGRAPHY: According to Col Jack Harris of Victoria BC, after Alex's mother's death in the 1894, he went to live with his aunt and uncle, Effie (MacLeod) and James Harris in Cardigan PEI. After his Aunt died in 1897, he lived in Lorne Valley and in 1908 traveled with a childhood friend, Dan Nicholson to Leavenworth Wa. where his oldest sister Annie was living. Moved to Cashmere Wa in 1920.
