BIOGRAPHY: This MacLeod family genealogy was started as a result of a visit in August 1958 between Earl Leslie MacLeod and his first cousin Catherine MacLeod, wife of Angus Bruce MacLeod, during which they discussed the MacLeod family tree. At the time Catherine was visiting her daughter Heather (MacLeod) Gillies in Vancouver BC from her home in California. Following this meeting, Heather put together the first draft of a family tree which then formed the basis of continuing genealogy research by Earl MacLeod until his death in 1987.His work was recorded in 33 pages of hand printed charts.
